A Different Kind of Management Firm
Most management companies are built around front-facing artists, with producers and songwriters handled as an afterthought. Whetstone is the inverse. Producer and songwriter management is our core business, not a sideline. That focus shapes everything we do: how we structure deals, how we pitch records, and how we plan careers that outlast any single placement.
Our clients get senior-level, hands-on representation covering career strategy, A&R direction, publishing and producer deals, and placement strategy. We work with creators in Atlanta and across the US.

In 2026, Whetstone earned two Grammy nominations for A&R consulting: Lecrae's album Restoration (Best Contemporary Christian Music Album) and the single Headphones featuring Killer Mike and T.I. Management Paired With Technology
Whetstone is also the rare management firm that builds its own technology. Through Whetstone Digital, our team develops AI-powered tools used by working musicians: copyrightcheck.app for copyright and sample clearance research, takehome.co for royalty and take-home math, and dosatsu.app for catalog intelligence.
That matters for clients because modern music careers are won and lost in the paperwork and the data: registrations, splits, letters of direction, catalog health. We advise on those with real technical fluency, not secondhand knowledge. It is the reason labels and publishers also hire us for music-tech and AI consulting.
The Founder
Jeremy Stevenson founded Whetstone Entertainment and leads every engagement. He is a music executive and manager based in Atlanta who works primarily with producers and songwriters, with A&R consulting credits that include the 2026 Grammy-nominated Lecrae projects. Before moving into management and A&R, he spent a decade inside Atlanta's studio system as a recording engineer, which is where his working relationships with producers began.
Jeremy also offers 1-on-1 consulting sessions for artists, producers, and music entrepreneurs who want direct answers on placements, deals, royalties, and career strategy.
